Due to the time delays incurred with export deliveries, and to align with industry practices, the invoice date calculation differs depending on whether the contract price basis is of export or domestic type. For details on contract price bases, and the distinction between export and domestic price bases, refer Price Basis definitions.
For information on the invoice due date (not the invoice date), refer here.
Export price basis contracts
The invoice date for export price basis contracts is always equal to the invoice generation date.
Domestic price basis contracts
For payment cycle purposes, the invoice date for domestic price basis contracts is equal to the delivery date (not the delivery payment due date) of the latest delivery on that invoice.
