Cancel or delete a delivery

You can cancel a delivery if, for example, you made a mistake in creating one and it has already been marked completed.

Cancelling a delivery reverts any related movement that was done in your Bins and All Locations Inventory. Cancelled deliveries will remain in AgriDigital Onfarm so you can go back to them for reference and printing.

Note To cancel a delivery onto a completed contract, you need to first revert that contract to its previous status (see Revert a contract to its previous status).

Note Cancel vs Delete a delivery
Deleting is only applicable to incomplete deliveries (those that have draft, in progress, on site, or pending status). While deleting has similar steps to cancelling deliveries, deleting permanently removes an incomplete delivery from the Deliveries list. To cancel a delivery:

On your desktop

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Deliveries.

  2. Click the delivery item that you want to cancel.

Tip You can filter the displayed delivery items to narrow down the information that is shown by expanding the Filter pane on the right edge of the page and setting necessary filter options (see Filter deliveries).

  1. Review the delivery details to ensure that you are cancelling the intended delivery.

    On the top-right portion of the Delivery details screen, click the Options icon and then select Cancel Delivery.

For incomplete deliveries, you will instead see the option to select Delete Delivery.

  1. In the dialog box that appears, click Yes.

The delivery appears as cancelled and will remain in AgriDigital Onfarm for reference or printing.

Deleted incomplete deliveries, on the other hand, will be permanently removed from AgriDigital Onfarm.

Alternative You can also cancel or delete a delivery by going to the Deliveries list and then clicking the corresponding Options icon to select Cancel Delivery.

Tip Click on any blank space on the column headers, and then press the right arrow key until the list moves to the right edge of the Deliveries list, where you will see the Options icon.

On your mobile

  1. In the Deliveries screen, tap the delivery that you want to cancel.

  1. Review the delivery details to ensure that you are cancelling the intended delivery.

    At the bottom of the Delivery details screen, tap the Options button and then select Cancel Delivery.

    (For incomplete deliveries, select Delete Delivery.)

Alternative You can also cancel or delete a delivery by going to the Deliveries list and then swiping the delivery to the left.
