The My Bins list screen allows you to quickly see your bins’ quality metrics, to help you monitor, work out, and optimize the value of your grains.

Go to Inventory > My Bins to view the total inventory and corresponding quality metrics in your on-farm storage bins.

You can show or hide the columns showing quality data in your bins—such as protein, moisture, oil content, and other parameters—by switching the Hide bin quality averages toggle.

Available quality metrics

The following quality metrics are shown as columns when Hide bin quality averages toggle is switched off.

Note If a particular quality column is blank, the column will not be shown
(e.g., no harvest done for canola, and so Oil and Impurities are completely empty--those columns will be hidden from view.)

Note that the data shown are weighted averages in the bins, and are based on the quality metrics you indicate in your deliveries. Every time a load goes in to your bins through completed deliveries, the stack average adjusts.

Quality stack average computation

All quality metrics follow the same computation rules and formula.

As a simple example, let’s focus on the Protein quality metric.

Computation Rules:

  • Only include inbound deliveries in the computation (shown highlighted above);
    omit outbound deliveries in computation.

  • If inbound delivery has a blank quality metric (shown in row 5 above),
    omit that in the computation.

Note

  • When a bin is emptied down to zero or changes segregation, stack average will reset to blank and start updating again on the next completed delivery.

  • You can also export the Inventory list as CSV to see all the other quality metrics for your bins (see Export Inventory list).
