For each of your on-farm storage locations, you can organize bins and assign them to store a specified commodity, specify its capacity, preferred units, and storage type.
Important
Before creating a bin, be sure that you have already set-up a storage location where the bin is located (see Set up your storage locations).
Create a bin on either your desktop or the mobile app.

In the left navigation bar, click Settings and then My Storage.
Under the My Bins tab, click Add Bin.

Fill out the Bin Details and Commodity Allocation sections.

Note You can specify additional commodities you may rotate through your bin by clicking Add Commodity. To remove an additional commodity row, click the corresponding Remove icon.
Note One commodity has to be active to create a bin.

Tip Can I set my initial bin quality?
To include bin quality settings in your initial set up, set the Current Quantity to 0 first, and then complete the remaining steps below.
Once complete, create your first delivery from Field/Paddock to Storage [going into this new bin that you just set-up] where you will then indicate your actual initial bin quantity and quality metrics (see Create a delivery). |
Add any internal notes, or you can come back and add these anytime.

After completing the bin details, click Create.

Go to the Inventory screen, and then tap Create New Bin.
