Empty your bin inventory

If you want to zero out a bin's inventory quantity, this is a guide on how to do that.

  1. Double check your Inventory in My Bins.

    Go to Inventory. Under My Bins, take note of the Current Quantity in the bin that you want to zero out.

  1. Based on the Current Quantity you noted, create the necessary delivery to adjust the bin quantity. Continue to either steps below:


If your bin has NEGATIVE Current Quantity


You’ll need to create a delivery FROM Field/Paddock TO Storage to increase the balance of the bin.

  1. Go to Deliveries and click Create Delivery.

  2. Select FROM Field/Paddock.

Important Indicate a Supplier Name only. Leave Farm and Field/Paddock details blank.

  1. Select TO Storage and select the Bin that you want to zero out the balance.

  1. Make sure the Commodity matches the Bin you are zeroing out.

  1. Type the necessary Net Quantity to add and zero out the balance of the bin you have noted earlier.

  2. Click Complete.

The bin should now show zero current quantity when you go to Inventory.

If your bin has POSITIVE Current Quantity


You’ll need to create a delivery FROM Storage TO Reference to zero out the balance of a bin.

  1. Go to Deliveries and click Create Delivery.

  2. Select FROM Storage. Indicate the necessary Bin Location, Bin Name, and Supplier.

  1. Select TO Reference. In the reference details, insert a note (e.g., zero out bin).

  1. Make sure the Commodity matches the Bin you are zeroing out.

  1. Type the necessary Net Quantity to subtract and zero out the balance of the bin you have noted earlier.

  2. Click Complete.

The bin should now show zero current quantity when you go to Inventory.
