Contracts automatically complete when:

  • The end delivery date has passed, and

  • The quantity delivered is between the minimum/maximum quantity requirements - i.e. within tolerance.

A contract won't complete if:

The end date has not passed

A contract may remain in an 'In Progress' state if the end date has not passed. If the quantity delivered is within tolerance, you can manually complete the contract by selecting 'Complete contract' in the drop-down menu in the top right hand corner. For more info, see this article.

The minimum quantity has not been reached

Each contract has a specific tolerance on the quantity of the commodity that can be delivered. The contract can only be completed once a quantity within the tolerance range is delivered.

If the end date has passed but the tolerance has not been reached, the contract will have an 'Unfulfilled' status. If there will be no more deliveries onto the contract, you will need to either:

  • Edit the contract quantity so that it is within the selected tolerance level. See this article for more information.

  • Edit the contract tolerance so that the contract has reached the minimum quantity.

If the end date has not passed AND the minimum quantity has not been reached, you will need to edit the contract quantity down to the delivered amount and then the contract will complete.
