AgriDigital Onfarm allows you to log deliveries at any point in the delivery process, whether it has been scheduled, on its way, or has already completed.

At all times, make sure to provide as much delivery information to ensure AgriDigital Onfarm can generate accurate inventory reports for you.

To create a delivery:

On your desktop

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Deliveries.

  2. On the upper-right portion of the screen, click Create Delivery.

Note

Fields with a red asterisk are required if you want to directly complete or finalize a delivery. Otherwise, you can only save a delivery (See Complete a delivery).

Tip
Quickly add frequently-used information

If an item you are looking for is not on a drop-down list, you can add it by clicking the Add icon on its side. This will show a quick add form, which will then save your entry in Settings, to save you time when creating your deliveries and allow you to simply select it on your next deliveries.

You can come back to Settings anytime, to make necessary updates to your quick entry (see Quick Add in the Delivery form).

  1. After completing the delivery details, click Save.

Click Save if the delivery has not yet reached its final destination. You can update a saved delivery anytime to add/edit any further details as it becomes available (see Update or edit a delivery). Otherwise, you can directly click Complete. Your inventory quantities will only update once a delivery has been completed (see What's the difference between Save and Complete buttons when creating deliveries?

After creating a delivery, AgriDigital Onfarm then assigns a temporary delivery ID, also known as TMP ID.

If you are creating and finalizing the delivery in one go, AgriDigital Onfarm assigns a permanent delivery ID (also known as D ID), and then updates your inventory accordingly (see Understanding delivery status).

  1. Details section
The current Date and Crop Year is automatically selected for you, but you can still adjust these fields as needed.

  2. From/To section
Select where the delivery is coming From and where it is heading To. Additional fields will appear for you to fill out, depending on the selected locations.

  3. Vehicle section
Select the vehicle that will accomplish the delivery.

Though optional, filling-out this section will help you in tracking your trucks and quickly filling-out the Tare Weight in the form.

Tip You can save frequently entered vehicle information by clicking Add New Vehicle (see Vehicle Profiles). Once a vehicle is saved, you will see a list of your vehicles as a drop-down suggestion in the Delivery form. Selecting a vehicle automatically fills-in the corresponding Driver Name, Freight Carrier, and Tare in the Delivery form.

  4. Commodity section
Select the Commodity and Variety (if applicable) to be moved in this delivery.

  5. Quality section
Depending on the Commodity selected, the corresponding fields for Quality will appear for you to fill out.

Though optional, filling-out this section will help you to monitor your bin quality metrics in Inventory (see Check your bin quality stack averages).

  6. Weight section
Indicate the Gross and Tare Weight of the delivery. The other weight fields are automatically calculated, but you can override its value as necessary. See also Weights and Mechanical Shrink for more information.

Note Users without a weighbridge can directly enter Net Quantity in the Delivery form, without having to enter Gross and Tare Information. Otherwise, you will need to enter Gross and Tare in the Delivery form, so that AgriDigital Onfarm can automatically calculate for the Net Quantity.

  7. Notes section
You can insert additional notes about the delivery in this section.

  1. After completing the delivery details, tap Save or Complete.
