To move grain inventory between bins within a site you can use Bin to bin transfer.
To complete a Bin to bin transfer and move grain between bins you follow these steps:
In the Storage module, go to inventory and click Bin to bin button in the top right.
Select the bin segregation you wish to move grain from in the From field.
Select the bin segregation you wish to move grain to in the To field.
Add in the amount you wish to move in the quantity field
There are quality parameters available for you to complete,
Note: if there is a value populated in this field this is the quality stack average value for the grain in the From bin segregation. These can be used or overridden.
Once the form is complete you can click transfer inventory
You will be redirected to the Bin transfer delivery detail page, so you can view the details of the transfer and take note of the delivery number.
Once the delivery is complete, the inventory will be transferred and the quantity on the bins updated. The bin transfer delivery will also appear in the Inventory movements table on the Bin inventory details screen for both the From and To bins.
💡 Pro Tip - To move grain inventory between bins at different sites it is still best practice to create a bin to bin order. Then a delivery onto the order.
