Deliveries onto a bin to bin order allow you to fulfil all/part of a bin to bin order through the creation of a single storage delivery. This will result in the origin bin’s inventory being debited and the destination bin's inventory being credited.

To deliver onto a bin to bin order, follow these simple steps.

  1. Navigate to the Deliveries feature of the Storage module on the Navigation panel - click "New delivery".

  2. On the delivery form, on the Delivery type drop-down menu, select the option "Bin to Bin (Order)".

  3. You will see the form fields update and a new field to select the order number. You have the option to select Vehicle type as "Auger" for when you’re augering between silos, where a truck won’t be used. If you save the delivery in an "In Progress" state you’ll notice it is created as a "Bin Out-turn (Order)" delivery.

  4. Complete all the fields and save the delivery so that it has a status of "Completed". This will then auto-create a "Bin Receival (Order)" delivery at the destination bin, which will be in the delivery list table.

If you wish to delete a delivery made onto a bin to bin order, you will first need to reverse the 'Bin Receival (Order)' delivery and then Delete the 'Bin Out-turn (Order)' delivery.

If you wish to delete or edit a Bin to Bin Order, you will need to make sure all deliveries have been cancelled off the order (as above), and then you will have the option to edit or cancel the order.
