Navigation tree: Settings > Storage > Bin Segregations -> Edit -> Deactivate bin
Deactivating a bin will update the status of the bin from active to inactive. Once a bin becomes inactivate it will no longer appear in the storage delivery or the bin transfer forms for users to select. To be able to deactivate a bin segregation it must be empty.
To deactivate a bin follow the steps below:
In the Settings module, go to Storage, Bin segregations and find the relevant Bin segregation and click the "Edit" button.
Click the Deactivate bin button in the top right corner of the screen.
A confirmation message will appear asking "Are you sure you want to deactivate bin X ?" Click confirm to proceed.
Note: Clicking cancel will exit the process.
The Bin segregation is now "Inactive" and you will be redirected back to the bin segregation list screen.
To see inactive bins in your Bin segregation screen, simply click the Show Inactive toggle, as shown below.
