The transfer feature within the AgriDigital platform allows you to transfer Warehoused deliveries onto your existing AgriDigital contracts.
For details on how to do this, read more here.
There are some restrictions in place to prevent the transferring grain to buyers who do not have a Storage & Handling Agreement (S&H) with a Storage Operator (SO) at the particular site.
These restrictions are explained below for Growers and Buyers.
Growers
Growers are unable to transfer deliveries to a buyer who doesn't have a relationship (in AgriDigital) with the SO of the delivery location. You will experience the below:
Navigate to the transfer screen. (Transactions > Deliveries > Transfer OR Transactions > Contracts > Contract Details > Transfer);
Enter the Commodity, season and counterparty as usual;
All the relevant deliveries will be displayed, however deliveries at sites where the selected counterparty does not have relationship will be greyed out;
Hover the mouse over the greyed out delivery to see message 'Selected buyer has no connection with Site Operator at delivery location';
If this occurs to a load you need to transfer, please contact the SO in question to confirm their relationship with the counterparty. The SO will need to add the counterparty to their Connections module for the grower to transfer the deliveries.
Buyers:
Buyers are unable to transfer deliveries to another counterparty who do not have a connection established (in AgriDigital) with the SO of the inventory location. You will experience the below:
Navigate to the transfer screen (Transactions > Inventory > New Transfer);
Enter the Commodity, season and counterparty as usual;
All the relevant deliveries will be displayed, however inventory at sites where the selected counterparty does not have relationship will be greyed out;
Hover the mouse over the greyed out inventory to see message 'Selected buyer has no connection with Site Operator at inventory location';
If this occurs, please contact the SO in question to confirm their connection with the counterparty.
*The SO will need to add the counterparty to their Connections module for you to be able to transfer the inventory.
Splitting Deliveries:
When you are transferring warehoused deliveries to buyers, you have the ability to adjust deliveries quantities to satisfy a contract. See process here to Splitting a delivery.
If you wish to transfer more than one delivery
i.e. the total quantity of a delivery and part of another one, you will need to proceed in two independent transfers.
First, transfer the delivery you are wanted to split;
Then complete the operation by another transfer of the total quantity of one or more deliveries.
