What do I need to do to set up my AgriDigital account for XERO Integration?

Navigation: Settings > Transactions > Integrations

Before you can start your integration you will need to map your XERO Accounts and Contacts with AgriDigital, ensuring information flows between softwares correctly.

Navigate to: Settings > Transactions > Integrations > XERO Settings > Accounts


Account mapping of your XERO general ledger

Firstly ensure all your accounts are setup in your XERO platform. Choose XERO accounts for the following sections:

Purchases

1. 'Rounding' is a mandatory field. Designate a XERO account for rounding discrepancies between AgriDigital Invoices and External Invoices e.g. Expense Purchase account;

2. 'Default' is a mandatory field. Designate a XERO account for purchase invoice commodities that have not been mapped in your Settings e.g. Purchase Suspense account;

3. Add Commodity specific XERO accounts for any commodities you will be Invoicing through AgriDigital e.g. Wheat Expense account.

​Sales

4. 'Default' is a mandatory field. Designate a XERO account for sale invoice commodities that have not been mapped in your Settings e.g. Sale Suspense account;

5. Add Commodity specific XERO accounts for any commodities you will be Invoicing through AgriDigital e.g. Wheat Asset account


Deductions

6. 'Default' is a mandatory field. Designate a XERO account for deductions that have not been mapped in your Settings e.g. Deductions Suspense account;

7. Add deduction specific XERO accounts for any deductions you make through AgriDigital e.g. Levies account, EPR account etc.

8. Click 'Save' to complete your account setup.

Setting up your account mapping for Xero Integration


Navigate to: Settings > Transactions > Integrations > XERO Settings > Contacts

Contact mapping

Firstly ensure all your Contacts are setup in your XERO platform.

1. Choose XERO contacts that match your AgriDigital Connections, to ensure your Invoices are generated and sent to the correct counterparty;

2. 'Full Profile Pty Ltd' is a mandatory contact. Map to your Full Profile contact in XERO. This contact is required for any End Point Royalties (EPRs) AgriDigital automatically collects for you.

Add new contacts as required

3. Enter the AgriDigital contact name in the 'AgriDigital' column (you can view your organisations via the Connections list screen in AgriDigital);

4. Enter the XERO contact name in the 'XERO' column (this is a list of all Contacts in Xero)

5. Click 'Save' to complete your Contacts setup.
